Aya Jaff is an author and former start-up founder. Born in the Kurdish region of Iraq, she taught herself to code at an early age and later became involved with prominent incubators in the start-up world. She left that work after realizing that she had become part of the growth machine she now criticizes. In her bestselling book »Moneymakers« (2020), she explored the worlds of finance and technology; in «Broligarchie» (2026), she examines the power structures of the tech elite. She also hosted the ARD television show «How to get rich, Aya?» and was named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list.
