Biography
Anna Hoghton, born in 1991 in the United Kingdom, is a widely acclaimed children’s author, poet, and filmmaker. In addition to various short film projects, she has published poetry in different anthologies and was nominated for the Lancelot Andrewes Poetry Award shortlist by Poet Laureate Carol Ann Duffy. Her debut novel »Aribella and the Fire Mask« was published in 2020 and won the Weald Book Award 2021 and the North Somerset Teacher’s Book Prize 2020. Hoghton lives in Bristol with her family.
