Biography
Angela Tschorsnig was born in Karlsruhe in 1960 and graduated in Germersheim as an accredited translator for Arabic and French. She spent time abroad in Toulouse, Cairo, and Southeast Anatolia. Tschorsnig translates from French and works with Kamal Hayek on translations from Arabic and with Kourosh Betsarkis on translations from Persian. Authors whose works she has translated include Driss Chraïbi, Hanna Mina, Hanan al-Scheich, and Akram Musallam.
