Andreas Heinz

born in 1960 in Stuttgart, is a psychiatrist and psychotherapist. He studied medicine, philosophy, and anthropology in Bochum, Berlin, and Washington D.C. Since 2002, he has been the director of the Clinic for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy at the Campus Charité Mitte in Berlin. He also directs the Department of Migration, Mental and Physical Health and Health Research at the Berlin Institute for Integration and Migration Research.
