Andrea Lundgren

Andrea Lundgren was born in 1986 in Boden in northern Sweden, grew up in the nearby village of Vittjärv. After upper secondary school she moved to Stockholm and just happened to take a creative writing course. Her first novel, »I tunga vintrars mage« (tr: In the Belly of Heavy Winters), was published in 2010. Having received a grant from the Swedish Writers’ Fund, she spent the winter of 2011/12 in South America to get new perspectives and devote herself to her writing.
