Amber Qureshi

is a writer and editor in New York City. At Picador, she acquired the work of Svetlana Alexievich (Nobel Prize), as well as the bestselling »Small Island« by Andrea Levy; at Free Press, she acquired and edited »The White Tiger« by Aravind Adiga (Man Booker Prize). She has also worked as an editor at Viking/Penguin and Alfred A. Knopf, Inc. Fluent in French and Japanese, she studied Pure Mathematics at Chiba University, Japan, before attending the Radcliffe Publishing Course at Harvard.
