Ali Alzaeem is a poet. He was born in Idlib, Syria, and came to Germany with his family in 2015. In 2019 he completed his Fachabitur in Berlin and studied logistics; he now works as a digitalization officer. As co-founder of the Syrian Students’ Union Germany, he advocates for the interests of Syrian students. In 2018 he joined «The Poetry Project» and contributed to two poetry collections, most recently in 2024 to «Sei neben mir und sieh, was mir geschehen ist». Ali Alzaeem lives in Berlin.
