Aiman Mazyek

Aiman Mazyek was born in Aachen in 1969, where he studied Philosophy, Economics, and Political Sciences. He enrolled for Arabic studies in Cairo. The delegate of the International Islam Conference supports the idea of a »liberal Islam«, and is a dedicated follower of Christian-Islamic reconciliation. The founder of the internet portal islam.de. set up Grünhelme e.V., an organization based on John F. Kennedy’s idea of the Peace Corps, together with Rupert Neudeck, and has been the Chairman of the Central Council of Muslims in Germany since 2010. Aiman Mazyek lives near Aachen.
