Justus Bender is deputy editor of the politics section at the Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung. He has followed the Alternative for Germany party (AfD) since its inception. In 2017, he published What Does the AfD Want?, which became a definitive work on the party’s rise and political aims. His new book, Germany 2033, explores what could happen if the AfD were to come to power. Justus Bender lives in Frankfurt, Germany.
