Claudia Major

Claudia Major, born 1976 in Berlin, has been a member of the Advisory Board to the Federal Foreign Office for Civilian Crisis Prevention since 2010. She is also a Senior Associate at the German Institute for International and Security Affairs (SWP), whose areas of interest are the Common Security and Defense Policy (CSDP), crisis management, armed forces, German defense and security policy, and NATO. She has been involved in major German and European think tanks and has taught at the Institut d’Etudes Politiques/Sciences Po Paris since 2006. Major lives in Berlin.
