Norman Erikson Pasaribu, born in Jakarta in 1990, is an Indonesian poet and writer. Pasaribu’s short story collection »Happy Stories, Mostly« (2021) was longlisted for the International Booker Prize together with translator Tiffany Tsao. In 2023, Pasaribu was Artist in Residence at the Harvard University Asia Center. With »My Dream Job« (2024), Pasaribu is now publishing his first volume of poetry in English. In 2025 Norman Erikson Pasaribu will be a guest of the DAAD Artists-in-Berlin Program in Berlin.
