It begins with an internet search on cereals and ends with a crossing of the Alps: in 2024, Kenah Cusanit was awarded the German Prize for Nature Writing for her fast-paced essay »Senatore Cappelli«. The prizewinner will be reading alongside scholarship holders Fiona Sironic and Erik Wunderlich. Minister of State for Culture Claudia Roth, Dirk Messner, Börries von Notz, and Andreas Rötzer will talk about the relevance of nature writing in the age of the climate crisis and the need for sustainable lifestyles.
In collaboration with the publishing house Matthes & Seitz Berlin, in cooperation with the Federal Environment Agency and the Art and Nature Foundation.
