Yanina Lazarenko

was born in Chernigow in 1976. She worked as a model and studied International Relations in Kiev and at UCLA. She produced a documentary film about her grandmother’s experiences in a concentration camp – as a survivor and critic of the Soviet Union. From 2006-2007 she worked as a project manager for the magazines »Elle«, »Psychology« and »Departures« in Moscow. Today she lives with her daughter in Kiev.
