Nino Paula Bulling

born in Berlin in 1986, is a comic artist and illustrator who studied at the University of Art and Design in Halle an der Salle. Their graphic novel debut »Im Land der Frühaufsteher« (tr: In the Land of the Early Risers) focuses on the living conditions of refugees in Saxony-Anhalt. Their most recent work »Bruchlinien« (2019; tr: Fault Lines) – a collaboration with Anne König – is devoted to three previously overlooked episodes from the NSU process.
