Maxime Schuhmann

Maxime Schuhmann was born in 1997 in Berlin, where he finished high school in 2015. Since early
2018, he has traveled across Germany as a slam poet and has taken part in many
poetry slams. Schuhmann currently studies German literature and political
science with an optional teacher track. He mainly writes lyrical texts about so-
cietal as well as personal topics in modern times. Schuhmann lives in Berlin and
is a first-time guest of the ilb. He will perform as a featured poet at the 9th ilb
U20 Poetry Slam.
