Margarita Iov

Margarita Iov, born in Kiev in 1993, grew up in Berlin. She lives and studies in Leipzig. Iov was the winner of the 26th Treffen junger Autoren in 2011, and is holding a scholarship of the Niedersächsische Kulturstiftung and the 17th Klagenfurt Literaturkurs in 2013. Her texts have been published in different anthologies, and by »Edit«. Her translation of the war diaries of the Russian photographer Jevgeni Chaldej appeared in the programme of Verlag Das neue Berlin.
