Lukas Krönert

born in 1991, studied physics at the University of Bayreuth from 2011 to 2016. Krönert wrote his master’s thesis on fusion research and later moved to Hamburg as a doctoral candidate at the Max Planck Institute for Meteorology, where he worked in Ocean in the Earth System department and in the Applied Mathematics and Computational Physics working group. His dissertation addresses improvements to ocean simulations in the ICON global climate model.
