Jasmin Tabatabai

born in 1967 in Tehran, she is an actress and singer. After high school she studied Acting in Stuttgart. Since her breakthrough in 1997 with the film production »Bandits« she has played in a variety of films alongside famous German actors. Tabatabai, who has also made a name as a singer, released her second solo album in 2007, »I Ran«. In her book »Rosenjahre« (tr: »Rose Years«) she tells her mother’s story.
