Biography
born in Leipzig in 1971. Jakob Hein earned his M.D. at the Charité and subsequently specialized in psychiatry. Today he runs a private practice in Berlin. His manifold publications, including his successful novel »Herr Jensen steigt aus« (2006; tr.:Jensen quits) and his vegetarianism satire »Wurst und Wahn« (2011; tr.: Sausage and insanity), have been translated into numerous languages. They are characterized by tracing the sometimes bizarre fissures of our everyday life.
