Heino Stöver

Heino Stöver was born in Gödestorf, Lower Saxony, in 1956. He studied Social Sciences in Bremen, Edinburgh and Rotterdam, graduated in 1982, obtained his doctorate at the University of Bremen in 1992, and became a Professor at the University of Oldenburg in 2000. Since then he has been a university lecturer and advisor to international organisations. He is the Chairman of akzept.eV., a member of the Scientific Board of the Deutschen Hauptstelle für Suchtfragen and of the Advisory Committee “Male health” of the Federal Centre for Health Education.
