27. January 2025
For 25 years, the international literature festival berlin (ilb) and Literaturstadt Berlin have shaped one another. Berlin’s international spirit, openness, and tradition of showcasing literature from around the globe make the ilb what it is: one of the most important literary festivals in the world.
The ilb’s range is truly unique – whether prose, poetry, nonfiction, graphic novels, or children’s and young adult literature. From panels to book premieres, from emerging voices to literary superstars, the ilb offers an unparalleled opportunity to experience the breadth of the literary world.
We are proud to collaborate with authors, moderators, speakers, interpreters, performers, musicians, and publishers who make this festival so distinctive. And we extend our heartfelt thanks to all our sponsors and supporters.
On our website, you will find information about past festival editions as well as details about this year’s program. Stay up to date with our newsletters and explore streams of past events in our archive.
The 25th ilb will take place from September 11–24, 2025.
