Adam Krzemiński

born 1945 in Radecznica (Eastern Poland), Adam Krzemiński studied German language and Literature in Warsaw and Leipzig. Since 1973, he has been the editor of the news magazine »Polityka« and is considered an expert on German-Polish relations. In 1993, he received the Goethe Medal. His commitment to German-Polish understanding was honored in 1999 with the Federal Cross of Merit. Krzemiński is chairman of the Deutsch-Polnischen Gesellschaft in Warsaw.
