Discussion, Reading, Q&A
October’s life is completely turned upside down when her father has a serious accident on her 11th birthday. Now, as she has to move to the city to live with her mother during her father’s recovery, she finds herself in an entirely new life: nothing reminds her of her secluded and adventurous life with her father in the midst of nature. While she tries to adapt to the new apartment, school, and surroundings, she learns how initially daunting changes can evolve into something wonderful.
