In his book »The Kabul Peace House«, published in 2019, Mark Isaacs presents an extraordinary Afghan peace project: In Kabul, young people have created a place that should enable Afghans to live together peacefully in the future. But the withdrawal of NATO troops from Afghanistan and the return of the Taliban regime put an end to this project. On stage, Isaacs and two affected people, who appear in his book, talk about flight and a possible new start in Germany.
In cooperation with the Documentation Center Displacement, Expulsion, Reconciliation.
Hosted by Eliza Apperly.
The event will be in English and Farsi.
