Georg Stefan Troller, born in Vienna in 1921, fled from the Nazis to the USA and has lived in Paris since 1949. He is one of the great directors, writers, and documentary filmmakers of the German-speaking world. His seminal interviews with individuals such as Thomas Brasch broke new journalistic ground. Peter Stephan Jungk discusses an impressive life’s work in conversation with Troller, who celebrates his 100th birthday later this year.
