Talk, reading with picture book screening, live illustration, Q&A

Tina lives with her parents in a stilted wooden house in the countryside. She loves to explore the spacious garden. Only the gloomy bamboo forest behind the house scares her. When curiosity gets the better of her one boring day, Tina plucks up courage and enters the forest with her dog Poppy. Unexpectedly, the two are catapulted into an adventure. In impressive illustrations full of bright blue and red tones, the picture book tells of courage, the desire to discover and the happiness of a friendship.

The events are part of the special »Echo Echo. Postsoviet Cosmopolis« and take place in cooperation with the Cluster of Excellence »Temporal Communities: Doing Literature in a Global Perspective«.
