Theater workshop
On one of her walks, the kind-hearted Beatrice meets the fabled Bog Myrtle, a sinister forest creature. But soon she discovers that Myrtle is far less frightening than rumor has it—Myrtle even offers Beatrice her magical yarn to knit with. When Beatrice’s grumpy sister finds out, events take a turn for the unexpected—even without magic. Quirky and whimsical, this fairy-tale graphic novel explores how consumerism and exploitation harm both our society and the natural world.
What happens in the workshop?
Based on the story, the pupils will approach Beatrice’s adventures in a theatrical way and go on their own journey of discovery.
