Objects Talk Back – Suspended Waters with ELIANA HERNÁNDEZ-PACHÓN

A raft made of gold, flutes carved from palm, and a thin sheet of museum paper – in »Suspended Waters«, Colombian writer-researcher Eliana Hernández-Pachón traces the stories of plant-based objects from the Humboldt Forum’s collection. Her poetic essay shows what plants can reveal and what they can conceal. As part of the »Objects Talk Back« event series, this event interrogates colonial museum narratives and invites visitors to creatively engage with their gaps, silences, and [un]truths.

An event of the Humboldt Forum in cooperation with the international literature festival berlin. Tickets are available through the website of Humboldt Forum.
