Creative writing and illustration workshop
Ida lives with her parents and her little brother Oskar in a house where she can hear the river gurgling outside her window at night. Although Oskar can be quite annoying at times, Ida quickly forgets this during their shared adventures. Whether it’s a river safari, encounters with moose, or exploring abandoned cabins in the woods, life with Oskar is never dull! A warm-hearted book that explores themes of family, loss, and the everyday and momentous events that shape our lives.
What happens in the workshop?
Bring out what’s inside you! Inspired by Maria Parr’s everyday stories, the children are supported by the author Beate Dölling and the artist Henrike Wilson in the creative process of self-expression.
