Stop-Motion-Workshop
Res is a rover built for Mars exploration – not for emotions. But as Rania and her NASA colleagues prepare him for his mission, he begins to develop feelings. The story is told alternately from the perspective of the curious robot and through letters from Rania’s daughter Sophie, who has mixed feelings about her mother’s work. An exciting space adventure that offers a fascinating glimpse into human nature through the eyes of a robot.
What happens in the workshop?
After an introduction to the book as a group, the students will let the Rover Res experience adventures on Mars by making stop-motion films.
