Visual artist Sim Chi Yin and Maaza Mengiste, author of the 2020 Booker Finalist The Shadow King, will be in conversation about Chi Yin’s new exhibition One Day We’ll Understand, her book She Never Rode That Trishaw Again, and the intersections of colonial/vernacular archives, narratives and memory on September 11 at 12 pm at Zilberman Gallery (Goethestraße 82, 10623 Berlin).
