siddhartha lokanandi is a bookseller. He grew up in Odisha, India. His mother tongue is Telugu. The knowledge acquired in used bookstores and through the chutzpah of New York City’s numerous street booksellers eventually brought him to Berlin. There he founded the Hopscotch Reading Room, which reflects these influences and his biography: a space above all for anti-colonial discourse and for books and ideas from beyond the Global North. siddhartha lokanandi lives in Berlin.
