Şeyda Kurt, born in Cologne in 1992, studied philosophy, Romance studies, and cultural journalism in Cologne, Bordeaux, and Berlin. As a publicist, she places herself in the field between Marxism and queer-feminist theory and practice and works, among others, for the political features section of »Deutschlandfunk Kultur« and »ZEIT Online«. She lives in Cologne and Berlin.
