Petra Ahne is a writer, journalist, and editor. She studied comparative literature, art history, and journalism in Berlin and London and began her journalistic career as a local reporter at the «Berliner Zeitung», where she later worked as an editor for the Seite 3 section and the science desk. Her books «Wölfe» (2016, tr. Wolves) and «Hütten. Obdach und Sehnsucht« (2018, tr. Huts. Shelter and Longing) both appeared In the Naturkunden series published by Matthes & Seitz Berlin. Since 2021, she has been an editor for the Feuilleton of the F.A.Z. and focuses on nature. Ahne lives in Berlin.
