born 1989 in Seligenstadt, Germany is a sociologist and author. His novels »Lärm und Wälder« [2015, tr. Noise and Forests] and »Miami Punk« [2019], as well as his forthcoming collection »Tausendmal so viel Geld wie jetzt« [2025, tr. A Thousand Times As Much Money As Now] are all published by S. Fischer. His work has earned him numerous awards, most recently the KELAG Prize as part of the Ingeborg Bachmann Prize in 2022. The focus of his sociological dissertation was on the category of »talent« as a means of organizing people, a theme also present in his fiction. Guse lives and teaches and the Kunsthochschule für Medien in Cologne.
