Gilda Sahebi, born in Iran in 1984, is a journalist specializing in racism, women’s rights, and science. She studied medicine and political science and completed her journalistic training at Bayerischer Rundfunk. She works as an author for »taz« and »Der Spiegel«, among others, and has reported on political developments in Iran in talk shows and on social media since the murder of Jina Mahsa Amini. In 2024, she published her second book, »Wie wir uns Rassismus beibringen. Eine Analyse deutscher Debatten« (tr: How We Teach Ourselves to Be Racist: An Analysis of German Debates).
