Biography
Amelie Singla, *2002 in Mexico City, was awarded at theTreffen junger Autor*innen in 2024 for her short story Importexport. In 2023, she took part in a literary workshop led by Lutz Seiler and received a scholarship from the Friedrich-Bödecker-Circle, where she was mentored in her writing for six months by children’s and young adult author Aygen Sibel Çelik. Amelie currently lives in Berlin and is about to graduate with a bachelor’s degree in literature and anthropology.
