Sonia Faleiro ist die Autorin von »The Good Girls: An Ordinary Killing«, nominiert für den Ondaatje Prize der Royal Society of Literature, den ALCS Gold Dagger for Non-fiction und den Premio Inge Feltrinelli Award, sowie von »Beautiful Thing: Inside the Secret World of Bombay’s Dance Bars«, nominiert für den Lettre Ulysses Award for the Art of Reportage. Sie gründete das literarische Mentorenprogramm »SouthAsia Speaks« und ist Mitbegründerin der philanthropischen Initiative »Books for Gaza«. Sie lebt in London, wo sie Royal Literary Fellow ist.
