The threat of climate change is present in news and politics, yet the public discourse presents no serious debate regarding a lifestyle change which adapts itself to the challenges set to us by the environment. It seems as though we are missing a language which makes climate change accessible, apart from economic interests. In the context of the ilb, climate researcher Prof. Hans Joachim Schellnhuber and the authors Xiaolu Guo, Mirko Bonné, and Tony Birch discuss most recent scientific discoveries in Climate Research and the potential of literature in relation to climate change.
