Dorothea Herliany is considered the most important contemporary Indonesian poet. A reoccurring theme in her poetry is women as victims of violence.
Antije Krog, who lives in Cape Town, is a writer, poet and journalist. She is best known as a chronicler of Apartheid and the new South Africa.
Eugene Ostashevsky grew up between two languages and cultures. He uses language as an artificial construct with its very own unique relationship to reality.
The author and translator, Elisabeth Plessen’s poems dedicated to her deceased husband (the director Peter Zadek) are testimonies of loss, loneliness and enduring closeness.
