Daniel Kehlmann’s latest novel focuses on the lives of three brothers who are hypocrites, defrauders, and forgers. Martin, an obese and faithless Catholic priest, meets his half-brother, Eric, for dinner. Eric is a financial advisor who is deeply in debt and permanently on the verge of imprisonment, and, unbeknownst to anyone else, has uncanny visions.
»F« is a masterpiece about truth and lies, about family, fraud and the power of fiction. In the lead-up to the ilb 2013, Daniel Kehlmann reads from this novel for the first time.
